Frogs and Toads Puzzle

Problem:

Three frogs and three toads are sitting on lily pads, with the frogs on the left and the toads on the right. They need to switch places. They can only hop forward or hop over one another to an empty lily pad. How can they switch places?

Solution:

The key is to alternate moves between frogs and toads, ensuring that each leapfrog (or leaptoad) moves them closer to their goal. Each must jump forward to an empty spot or hop over one animal to a free spot, strategically moving to allow the next move.
