If you provide support for someone then the answer is YES!

You are eligible for our carer ID card if you look after a family member, partner or friend who needs help because of their illness, frailty, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction and cannot cope without your support.

You are still eligible even if you receive financial benefit or support such as Carer's Allowance. You do not need to provide any official documentation to register for our carer card as we operate a self-verification policy. You will know yourself whether you're a carer.
