This Carers Week (9th–16th June 2025), CarersCardUK proudly supports the national theme “Caring About Equality” — a call to recognise and address the inequalities that unpaid carers face every day.
Across the UK, millions of people quietly care for a loved one — a parent, partner, child, friend or neighbour — often without recognition or adequate support. At CarersCardUK, we are dedicated to raising awareness of their vital role and ensuring they are not left behind.
Unpaid carers too often face financial hardship, health challenges, and social isolation. We believe in a future where carers have access to the right support, services, and opportunities to lead healthy, secure and fulfilling lives — not just as carers, but as individuals too.
To help mark Caring About Equality during Carers Week, we’re also giving back through our weekly giveaways. These giveaways are our way of recognising the incredible dedication of unpaid carers — offering moments of joy, self-care, and relief from everyday pressures. Whether it’s a wellbeing treat, a useful product, or an experience to enjoy, each prize is designed to show carers they are valued and appreciated.
